Dr. Kan Psychological Services is not a crisis intervention program. If you or someone you know has a mental health emergency such as active suicidal thoughts, acute psychosis, and mania, please call 988, the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. Dr. Kan Psychological Services may not respond to voicemails or emails promptly to assist you in a crisis if you leave a message. 
* Please note that Dr. Kan is unavailable on Thursdays and Fridays due to her other professional obligations at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. She will return all emails or voice messages on the following Mondays or Tuesdays. Thank you for your understanding. 

Psychological Testing & Assessment


* Due to Dr. Kan's other professional obligations, testing appointments are scheduled for Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays between 8:30 am and 12:30 pm. Upon request, Dr. Kan may provide a doctor's note for your child to submit to their school. 

Telehealth Psychotherapy 


Dr. Kan accepts Lyra, Modern Health, and cash payments.  


* Dr. Kan is not accepting new psychotherapy clients at the moment.

Dr. Kan provides psychological assessments, psycho-educational testing, brief neuropsychological evaluations, and psychotherapy in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. She is located in Pleasanton and services children, adolescents, and adults in the entire Bay Area. She also offers limited telehealth services to clients in California and New York.
